Stay Protected from the Elements with Custom Screens

A comfortable outdoor space should be enjoyed all day, not just for an hour or two. In Atlanta, that means having a way to manage the heat and humidity that hit especially hard during the warmer months. Installing motorized retractable screens in Atlanta, Georgia, can extend the usable season of your home or business.

StruXure Atlanta installs these screens as an integrated part of your pergola, cabana, or patio. The result is an outdoor space that works with you, no matter what the weather brings.

Seamless Control at Your Fingertips

Our motorized retractable screens are powered by Somfy technology, letting you adjust them with a handheld remote or smartphone app without leaving your chair. You can drop the screens on one side while leaving the others open, or retract everything in seconds when a light breeze picks up.

Screen Options for Every StruXure Structure

Motorized retractable screens aren't a one-size-fits-all configuration. The right setup depends on the type of structure your screens are being added to and what you want them to do. We install screens across the full StruXure product lineup, including pergola systems from Pivot 6 and Pan 6, as well as cabanas.

Customize your screens with the following features:

Mesh Opacity: Choose from opacity levels ranging from near-transparent to higher-privacy screening, depending on your visibility preferences.
Color Options: Select a mesh color that integrates with your structure's finish and overall outdoor aesthetic.
Coverage Configuration: Opt for full enclosure on all open sides or partial coverage based on sun direction or sightlines.

Benefits of Upgrading with Custom Screens

Custom retractable and motorized screens offer a host of lifestyle and practical benefits. Here are some of the ones Atlanta homeowners value most:

Sun and Weather Protection: Stay comfortable even on the hottest afternoons or when unexpected rain moves in.

Privacy and Shade: Relax or entertain with confidence, shielding your space from neighbors or street views.

Bug and Insect Control: Cut down on mosquitoes and other pests that are common during Atlanta’s evenings, without the need for noxious sprays or unreliable netting.

Year-Round Outdoor Living: Extend the functional season of your patio, pergola, or cabana for meals, celebrations, or quiet time outside.

Home Compatibility: Integrate automatic screens into your smart home setup for convenient, app-based control.

Pair Screens with the Rest of Your Outdoor System

Screens work best when they’re planned alongside the rest of your outdoor setup. Here are other accessories that pair well with them:

Pergola Lighting: A well-lit pergola sets the tone for how you use your space during the evening, from a relaxed dinner to hosting guests after sunset.
Outdoor Fans: A fan keeps air circulating throughout the space, cutting the heat and curbing humidity that builds after a storm.
Outdoor Speakers: Entertain your guests with Sonance speakers designed for outdoor use and controlled via the Sonos app.

Living up to Georgia’s Summer Weather

Georgia summers run long, so choosing the right mesh and frame materials is key to enjoying your outdoor space comfortably. The weather-resistant frames are designed to withstand Atlanta’s climate without warping or sagging.

Motorized retraction means you don't have to choose between protecting your screens and using them. When a storm rolls in, or wind picks up quickly, you can pull the screens back in seconds rather than leaving them deployed and exposed. Over time, that quick response keeps the system operating smoothly year after year rather than wearing out faster than it should.
